Remy Germinario is a bespectacled Gemini who owes most of his personality to Lisa Kudrow! Remy is a versatile soul who aims to use his art, specifically comedy, to allow audiences a respite from the stress of the world and also shine a light on important issues through the lens of comedy.
A NYC-based AEA actor, comedian, writer & coach, Remy was born and raised in Tampa, FL into a Cuban and Italian family. At age 5 he caught the acting bug – watching his dad perform in community theatre. He landed the role of the small-but-mighty Tiny Tim in the same theatre’s production of ‘A Christmas Carol' ...and it was all uphill from there! In 2008, Remy moved to NYC to study at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and received his BFA in Acting (CAP21/Strasberg Studios).
Remy has performed Off-Broadway, on National Tours, Regionally and on numerous Film/TV/Voiceover projects. Led by his iconic quick wit and dry humor, it made perfect sense to enter the world of Stand Up Comedy in 2017 when the political climate was really giving him a LOT to work with. Now he regularly performs at comedy clubs in NYC and beyond.
The sketch comedy community can't get rid of him either – Remy is best known for his kooky original characters and impressions, most notably his impressions of The Barefoot Contessa, The Pioneer Woman and other Food Network Chefs. He has gardened 38,000 followers on TikTok and 15,000 on Instagram and international news media attention for his online comedic content. Remy is also an actor of the prestigious Maude Night at UCB-NY where his team, Petty Crime, performs once a month at the new Union Square location.
Remy is also a teaching artist, most notably teaching Comedy and other courses at NYU/The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Outside of the arts, Remy is an avid traveler, dessert connoisseur, and proud dog dad to Sandwich the French Bulldog with his husband Michael Kushner, with whom he enjoyed renovating an upstate lake house on the weekends!

"Delivering each line like he's circling for the kill, Germinario gives a painfully authentic performance of a gay man who has sharpened his rhetorical talons as his only means of defense"
